A symbol of connection and globalization in the 21st century.
In 1996, the United Nations General Assembly established 21 November as World Television Day, recognizing the increasing impact that television has on decision-making processes , drawing the world's attention to conflicts and threats to peace and security , as well as its potential role in focusing attention on other major issues, including economic and social issues. The United Nations Office in Geneva have organized a debate to mark World Television Day 2018 . To mark World TV Day on 21 November 2018 we've produced, together with ACT and egta, a 30-second video clip emphasising the premium content. World Television Day is dedicated to the philosophy that television brings to our lives as a symbol of connection and globalization in the 21st century.
